It's totally annoying. I don't know why these people think that just because Katy Perry has decided she's rocking smurf coloured hair, doesn't mean that it'll look good on you, use your head a bit!
I know that most people look to these celebrities for fashion tips and such and I have no beef with that but you have to be selective about these things. I mean come on! I have nothing against my sistas from South Sudan but when one of them decides it's sunrise yellow braids, I just have to object.
You know what irks me the most, more than grown ass women with pink braids? When these women (I can't find it in me to call them mothers), decide for/let their daughters put these multi-coloured disasters on their heads. Why would you condemn the future generation to such torment. They have little brains and depend on the people who birthed them (still can't call them mothers) to make proper fashion choices for them. I came across this child while doing my own braids and I almost hurled.
I mean, what type of madness is this?
